Specifications

Built to your spec.

Biscuits are bought on impulse and given as gifts, and in both cases the box does the selling. Eastern Dragon prints biscuit and cookie boxes in Addis Ababa for biscuit makers, bakeries and confectioners: everyday retail packs, family packs and holiday gift boxes.

Biscuits are brittle and pick up moisture, so they are usually wrapped or bagged inside the box, and the box protects the wrap from crushing. Retail packs are folding cartons printed in full colour; gift boxes use heavier board or a lid and base, sometimes with a window or a tray inside. We also make the corrugated cases the boxes ship in.

Holiday boxes are ordered at the same time as everyone else’s: Enkutatash, Genna, Fasika and Eid bring the peaks. Send the pack size, the quantity and your artwork well before the season, and we will quote and prepare a proof.

FAQ

Good to know.

Can biscuits go straight into a printed box?

Usually they are wrapped or bagged first, which keeps them fresh and away from the board. If biscuits will touch the box directly, the inside should be virgin-fibre food-grade board.

Can you make a biscuit gift box with a tray inside?

Yes. A lid and base with a board tray holds biscuits or cookies in rows or cups, so they arrive whole and look good when the lid comes off.

Can you make the shipping cartons for our biscuit boxes too?

Yes. The corrugated case is sized to the exact number of boxes, and both can be delivered together.
