Yes. A clear window in the lid or the front shows the cake without opening the box, which helps sell it from the counter.

Which board is safe for cake boxes?

Board made for food contact: virgin-fibre white board, or kraft. Recycled grey-back board can carry traces of mineral oil that may pass into food, so it should not touch cakes directly without a liner.

Do you make cupcake boxes with inserts?

Yes. A board insert with round holes keeps each cupcake upright and apart, so the frosting arrives intact.
