About Eastern Dragon, a Chinese-Ethiopian packaging partnership.

Founded in Addis Ababa in 2017, we adopted mature packaging technology and industrial experience from China to fill the gap in high-quality carton packaging in East Africa.

Who we are

Built on more than two decades of group experience, we have grown into a leading packaging enterprise in Ethiopia.

Eastern Dragon is part of a business group whose development began in China in 2004 and expanded into international trade, metals, packaging, manufacturing, food processing, supply-chain management and machinery. That cross-sector experience supports our work with manufacturers, exporters and consumer brands. Our packaging business covers Ethiopia and neighbouring East African countries, with local R&D, production and sales under one roof. We are proud to be a Sino-Ethiopia Industrial Cooperation Model Enterprise, with full Ethiopian production and export packaging qualifications. Our 120+ professionals make corrugated cartons, offset-printed colour boxes, paper bags and export packaging for more than 200 local and international clients.

Li Wei
General Manager
Leads the company and its partnership between Chinese manufacturing know-how and Ethiopian industry. Twenty years in corrugated packaging in China and East Africa.
Abebe Kebede
Deputy General Manager
Runs day-to-day operations and customer relations across Ethiopia. Joined when the factory opened in 2017.
Zhang Min
Production Manager
Keeps the corrugator, print and die-cutting lines running on schedule, and trains the machine teams.
Selam Tadesse
Quality Manager
Owns incoming board checks, press proofs and the final inspection of every order before it leaves the factory.

Looks after exporters, manufacturers and brands, from the first enquiry to repeat orders.
